Pico-Vac® JL Rat and Mouse/Irr 6F is a 6% fat, complete life cycle diet formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of rats and mice. The 5LL4 is the irradiated version of 5K67 and similar in ingredients and macronutrients to the 5K52, the primary formula used by The Jackson Laboratory. This diet is formulated using managed formulation, delivering Constant Nutrition®. This is paired with the selection of highest quality ingredients to assure minimal inherent biological variation in long-term studies. It is vacuum packed in plastic bags that are irradiated to provide virtually bacteria-free ration. The vacuum package provides a visual confirmation that the seal on the bag has not been broken.
